FAQ
Here, we have compiled frequently asked questions and answers from users during the testing phase. If you have new questions or suggestions, please feel free to submit them on the Feedback Issues page.
Special Instructions
To ensure the stable operation of the application, if you are upgrading from a test version, we strongly recommend that you perform a reset operation in the "Data Control" option in the settings. This is because the testing phase has undergone multiple database structure updates, and the reset operation can avoid potential data compatibility issues.
Model Features
Language Settings
How to change the model's response language?
By default, we have requested the model in the system prompt to reply in the same language as your question. If the model does not use your language as expected, or if you have disabled the default system prompt, you can explicitly instruct the model to reply in a specific language in the conversation. Using local model requires Apple Silicon device.
Tool Calling
How to use the tool calling function?
The tool calling function relies on the model's ability to support it. Different models may support different types of tools. You can check whether the model supports tool calling in the model configuration interface and turn it on or off as needed.
Local Models
What types of local MLX models are supported?
Currently, we support some MLX models, but not all types are fully compatible. You can try downloading and loading different models, but please be careful to choose a model size that is suitable for your device resources to avoid application crashes due to insufficient resources.
Local model fails to load, how to solve?
If the local model fails to load, first confirm that the model type has been selected correctly. Visual models need to enable visual support, while text models should not force visual support, otherwise it may cause loading failure. If the problem persists, try downloading the model file again. If the problem still cannot be solved, the model may not be supported.
API and Compatibility
Which third-party APIs are supported?
We mainly support the standard OpenAI interface specification and prioritize ensuring compatibility with OpenRouter. Other interfaces may require further adaptation.
How to import model configurations in batches?
Just select all of them when importing.
User Interface and Experience
How to adjust the interface display and operation?
The font size of the application interface will automatically follow the system settings. If you need to change the display ratio, please go to the system settings to adjust it. For the display of marked text in the conversation list in the application, you can customize it in the application's settings panel.
